Frequently Asked Questions
General
What do you specialize in?
We are a full-service Generac Authorized Dealer serving residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Not only do we sell and install Generac generators, but we also offer service packages and repair work to keep your generator running in top shape. We’ve been in business since 2012, which has led us to be the #1 dealer in the tri-state area.
Do you charge for quotes?
No, we do not charge for quotes. After completing the Contact form, one of our knowledgeable sales associates will call you to schedule an appointment. Once you’re booked, our associate will come to your home or business, discuss your options for installations, and give you an estimated cost.
How much does a generator installation cost?
Installation costs vary by system size, installation considerations, and local building codes. We recommend scheduling a free quote. To do this, complete our contact form on the home page or give us a call at 606-932-2222.
What licensing do you have?
We hold all appropriate electrical licensing in Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia, as well as insurance and bonds.
What are the different types of Generac home standby generators available?
We sell and install air-cooled generators and liquid-cooled generators. The difference between the two is their engines. Air-cooled generators come with engines that use fans to force air across the engine for cooling, while liquid-cooled generators use enclosed radiator systems for cooling, similar to an automobile. Generally, liquid-cooled engines are used on larger kW generators due to the larger engines required for the higher power output.
Maintenance & Repairs
Why does my generator need to be serviced?
Just like your car, your generator needs a yearly tune-up to keep it running at optimum performance. For a full list of maintenance items we do at each service, please visit our servicing section here.

The standard 5-year limited warranty that comes with most Generac home standby generators covers the following:
* The first two years cover travel, labor, and parts
* The third year covers parts
* The fourth and fifth years cover the motor and the stator.
Do you offer extended warranties on your generators?
Yes. As a Generac Authorized Dealer, we can assist you in purchasing an extended warranty for your generator through Generac. Warranty options include 5-year, 7-year, and 10-year plans. For more information and pricing, please fill out the form on the Contact page or call us at 606-932-2222.
